Cuba - NY 10012

Truly enjoyed the whole experience around Cuba restaurant. Great cuban ambiance with nice live music, and super friendly staff with great service throughout the night. I wished I could get every dish on the menu! Old cuban cocktail was yum with a fresh sugar cane stick. Daily special ceviche was nice and tangy and fresh. The pulpo a la plancha was my fav of the night. Cooked perfectly, great texture and flavor. The crispy potatoes that came with were really good too! The daily special stir fried skirt steak with fried rice was very comforting! Bombon cubano was the perfect way to finish the meal. So decadent and nicely paired with fresh mint and strawberries and vanilla ice cream. Can’t wait to go back and try other dishes!

I was invited to a birthday dinner here. The service is impeccable! All the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The drinks were good, and the food was good. I didn’t know it was a live band, which I know some people enjoy. I do not, since you cannot really hear the people you are with. But the music was good, so it’s just a matter of preference. The room we had was VERY tight, and we were literally elbow to elbow. It’s an intimate and cozy location, but I would recommend as an option for anyone who enjoys this type of atmosphere.

The outdoor seating is nice when it’s warm. I thought the portions were very small for Cuban food, but it was well seasoned. The coffee was delicious and so was the sangria. It’s a good option if you’re around the NYU area and are looking for a good bite and a nice atmosphere with music that makes you want to dance.

Really tasty food here, from appetizers Ceviche, Fried Calamari to Seafood Paella! The passion fruits sangria was delicious too! My friends and I were all saying we would come back again! The service was also great!

Every aspect of dining here brings me pure joy. Their dishes are consistently good and their servers never disappoint. Quality place for your evening meal. Employees are so pleasant that their service adds to the enjoyable atmosphere. I appreciate the convenience of this restaurant.

The food was excellent. Very well condimented and flavorfull. I had the Vaca frita which came with delicious black beans and white rice. The meat was tasty with a smoky grilled flavor. My wife had the lunch special with chicken/pork/beef/viande soup, also tasty. She then had the rice with chicken which was tomato based with pieces of sweet plantain, delicious. The passion fruit mojito was extra minty and refreshing. For desert we had the guava and cheese empanadas and the trio of ice cream. The mango and guava ice creams were quite good with a natural flavor and not too sugary. Would definitely recommend this place and come back.

Love the ambiance. The music was perfect volume and set the mood for a romantic date night. The staff was very friendly. They had great recommendations and came over as often as we needed. The food could have used a little bit more flavor but overall was good. Rum is not my favorite but it was nice to sample some. My husband enjoyed it more than I. The sangria was delicious. I would definitely come here again and bring some friends.
